Friends of Bayley Beach, LLC “FBB” 501c3 is a civic organization dedicated to bettering Bayley Beach. Our mission is to partner with the 6TD and the incredible community of Rowayton to drive swift capital improvements through private funding. Our mission is to better and preserve Bayley Beach, a beautiful space where families and friends come together to enjoy the beach, listen to music, play on the playground, watch a sunset, and so much more.

Bayley Beach is supported by 6TD tax dollars but as a private property owned by 6TD, it does not have access to City of Norwalk funding. Private funding is needed to expedite improvements that will improve our beach experiences.

Friends of Bayley Beach is committed to raising funds to improve the beach based on the needs of the community and property. The first project is a playground renovation. All funds during this round of fundraising will go towards this project while the remainder of funds, if any, will go towards other improvements on the property. We recently received our 501c3 status and are excited to formally kick off fundraising for the playground renovation project!

Completing the renovation and expansion of the playground will provide a fun safe place for Rowayton’s youngest generation to enjoy at the beach. Improvements include adding more trees for shade, expanding the fenced area to include a free play area that can host children’s programming, make the playground ADA compliant, and so much more. Your donations will help the children of Rowayton and the surrounding communities have an updated and safe plays pace for years to come. Once completed, FBB hopes to be an advocate and financier for further improvement projects to better the beach overall.
